A Warning to the Curious

taken... recently. about a couple of weeks ago.

i've been in hospital since june, having suffered a stroke on the 9th of that month. i don't propose to go into the full story of the last 10 weeks here, but suffice to say it's been an interesting time, occasionally in a good way... and the above sign has been the most interesting thing. it appears on the wall of the corridor you can see on the right. i pass it on a daily basis, and i still haven't plumbed its mysteries. who exactly would want to set up an x-ray machine in an open corridor like that? who decided such a warning sign would be necessary? why an x-ray machine in particular? it remains an ongoing puzzle.
